BDSM
WARNING!
Some photographs contain nudity – sparingly, but still.
If you’re not into BDSM and Femdom (Female domination) yourself, it is my strong belief that there are many, many misconceptions, prejudices et cetera, on what it actually is.
The stereotype of a dominant woman is she’s either lesbian and very butch, or she’s a Dominatrix, thus clad in leather and/or latex, stiletto heels, wears a strap-on and carries a whip.
While there are of course dominant women who do exactly that, there are many who don’t. Most dominant women are just regular people with desires that reach beyond the vanilla realm.
There is also, I believe, the misconception that a dominant woman is so for the pleasure of any submissive man. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Another thing I believe many people think, rather than actually know, is that BDSM, regardless of what you’re into, is about sex.
While, of course, sex is a large part of the BDSM world, it most certainly is not the only thing that matters. Many people have desires and needs not connected to sex at all, or can be played on with sexual means, but is not the main goal or end game.
